With a record-breaking 693.38 km drive, the Kia PV5 Cargo has been awarded an electrifying achievement: the greatest distance travelled by a light-duty battery-powered electric van with maximum payload on a single charge.
The 22-hour and 30-minute journey took place under real-world conditions on public roads, carefully designed to replicate the daily realities of delivery and logistics operations.
A fully-loaded Kia PV5 tackled a 58-kilometre loop twelve times, facing traffic lights, roundabouts, and even a 370-metre elevation gain on each round.
In practical terms, the achieved range of 693.38 kilometres on a single charge equals nearly two full working days of operation for typical delivery and logistics use cases, highlighting the vehicle’s efficiency in real-world conditions.
